Galaxy and Sovereign class ships won't have this problem. The only ship that has a relatively low (by Star Trek standards) targeting accuracy is the Defiant class, and that is because their pulse phaser cannons are unidirectional. Each of the ships is insanely maneuverable, is insanely fast at sublight speeds, and has a very high targeting accuracy. However, the problem is hitting the Star Trek ships. If a bolt hits a Star Trek ship, it will hurt. There are eight dorsal batteries on each ISDII. In one on one engagements, Star Destroyers (Mark II's) have a lot of firepower in the form of 64 heavy turbolasers put into batteries of eight guns. The firepower between ships, barring the outliers for both sides, is comparable, bolt to bolt. However, it would be very costly, and in a war of attrition in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants (if the Federation fights the Empire, the war will quickly expand to the other two major powers as well), the Empire would have a lot of difficulty. Now as for my opinion, the Galactic Empire would win in an all out war.

If one is not allowed, the other is not either. It is an outlier high end for Trek, just as the ICS is for Star Wars. If one accepts the ICS, one must accept ST's 'The Die is Cast', an episode that shows high gigaton to low teraton firepower for Star Trek ships, oddly enough, those yields are comparable to ICS level yields. Now for the debate at hand, my view is that it is all or nothing. Firelord feats and are, thus, not admissible in a debate, at least on the CBR forums. On the CBR forums, where the ICS isn't allowed, such instances of high yields, or sometimes low yields that are contradicted by all other instances in a given universe are called Spider-Man vs. And there are examples of firepower in Star Trek that could put it on a par with the SW ICS, but these are few and far between and there are examples of lower firepower. There are some debate websites that don't accept the ICS, yields or weapons ranges, because it is contradicted by the movies, and even by the rest of the EU.
